Reviews and Ratings
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. The rooms, with a bonus balcony, had a nostalgic smell that reminded me of a nursing home back in 1988. On the bright side, the staff provided fantastic dinner recommendations that turned out to be the best meals we had in Italy. The decor featured exposed wood beams and vibrant orange and yellow walls.
Staying at the Tuscan villa was a unique experience with spacious rooms overlooking a beautiful garden. The service was superb, making our stay truly enjoyable. The location was peaceful and ideal for exploring Tuscany, but it was a bit disappointing to see urban sprawl nearby. The dining experience was a mix of nice breakfast options and some processed foods. The facilities were well-kept and added to our comfort.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positive and negative aspects. The rooms were very large, impeccably clean, and beautifully decorated with antique-like furniture, but unfortunately, they had a strong vinegar smell, which was a bit off-putting. The service was superb, with the staff being extremely helpful, friendly, and accommodating, although there were reports of rudeness from the receptionist during a rainy night. The location was perfect for exploring Northern Tuscany, close to major cities like Pisa, Luca, and Florence, offering a tranquil setting away from the tourist crowds. The dining experience was decent, with a nice breakfast but subpar coffee and slow service. Overall, the hotel had its charms but also some drawbacks that affected the overall experience.
I absolutely loved the traditional Tuscan touch in the comfortable rooms with exposed wood beams and bright orange and yellow painted walls. However, the vinegar smell was a bit off-putting, reminding me of a nursing home from the past. The service was incredibly friendly and helpful, making my stay even more pleasant.
Staying at the Tuscan villa was a mixed experience. The rooms were well-furnished but very dark, making them somewhat uncomfortable. The service was excellent, with fantastic and helpful staff, although the dining options were below par. The location was great, offering a peaceful retreat close enough to explore Tuscany easily.
Our stay at the hotel had its ups and downs. While the room we stayed in was lovely with high ceilings, a clean bathroom, and air conditioning, the receptionist's rudeness due to a heavy rainstorm put a damper on our experience. The location was excellent for exploring the attractions of northern Tuscany, although the dining experience left something to be desired with limited options and processed ham and cheese slices. The staff redeemed themselves by offering helpful alternatives for food intolerances, making the overall experience better.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were small but came with a balcony, which was a nice addition. However, the overpowering vinegar smell was a bit off-putting. Unfortunately, our air conditioning didn't work during our stay.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The traditional and comfortable rooms were a bit old-fashioned, but the service was top-notch, especially from the friendly chef. The location, though a bit hard to find, was great for relaxation among beautiful fields. The dining experience was not the best, with limited options, but the facilities were decent.
Upon arrival, I found the hotel to be a mix of positives and negatives. While the rooms were a bit old-fashioned, they were surprisingly large and comfortable. I started in what felt like a converted stable but later moved to the main block, which didn’t offer a significant improvement. Nonetheless, enjoying a glass of wine with those high ceilings was lovely, and the clean bathroom and air conditioning were definite highlights.
Staying at this Tuscan villa was a mixed experience. The rooms, decorated uniquely and comfortable, were lovely. The service was friendly and accommodating, even with offering alternatives for intolerances. The location is great for exploring northern Tuscany, but there was a sense of disdain towards guests. The dining experience had room for improvement, with processed ham and cheese, but the homemade muffins were a nice touch.
